I know that you are a hardcore Wonderful, and believe me so am I. But when you start to bash and post hate posts about other K-Pop groups, you are crossing the line my friend. Yes, I know that there are a lot of crazy fans that hate on the Wonder Girls, I really feel bad whenever I read those kind of stuff on my feed and on forums. But do you think it will help if you retaliate with hate? When you do that, you are no different than those who bash our girls…
So please, if you don’t have anything good to say about other K-Pop groups just don’t say anything at all. Or if you can tone down your hate posts, it would also be an improvement. To be honest, I cannot tolerate your hate posts anymore. You are a disgrace to this fandom (oops, that’s way over the line :)).
I was in high school when I heard my first K-Pop song. It was Wonder Girls’ Tell Me. At that time, I really found the music video funny because the story was so comical and absurd in a fun way. My eyes were captured by the girl who wore the Wonder Woman costume, she was so cute and her character wasn’t corny. From then on, I became a Wonder Girls fan and a Sohee fan.
When they started their US promotions, their Korean fanbase grew weaker compared before and it really saddened me but I wished them the best in their US market entry. It also saddened me when Sunmi left during their US promotions to focus on her studies. But I was really ecstatic when they made their Korean comeback in 2011 with Be My Baby and attained the number one spot on music programs.
The group had been in an indefinite hiatus with Sunye’s pregnancy. And each of the members focused on solo activities. But rumors about Sohee not renewing her contract with JYPE and the Wonder Girls really shocked me. Apparently, she will pursue her acting career and still deciding if she’ll stay with JYPE as an actress or move to another agency. Her contract will expire this December 21st and the best that I or WE can do as her fans is to support her in whichever path she takes and be happy for her. SPREAD THE WONDER!
